Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner have announced the birth of their second child with an adorable snap of the newborn on Instagram. The American model announced her pregnancy at the 2023 Met Gala.
The celebrity model and former Victor’s Secret Angel is a proud mother of two children after the birth of her second baby with businessman Joshua Kushner. Karlie’s husband was the one who broke out the lovely news with a sweet picture of their newborn and his post was filled with messages of love.

Congratulations are in order to Karlie and Joshua following the expansion of their family. Their bundle of joy was born on Tuesday, July 11 as indicated in Joshua’s caption.
“Welcome to [the world]”, Joshua captioned an Instagram post alongside a picture of the newborn in a baby blue hat on a beautiful cover filled with colorful hearts.
His post received a lot of love and kind messages from fellow Hollywood stars. Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Zuckerberg reacted with heart emojis, while Kate Hudson wrote: “Welcome.”
“Another person to adore Levi!!! Welcome to this world baby,” a fan added in the comments.
“Welcome Levi’s little brother,” another kind comment read. “Congratulations to the proud parents and grandparents, and especially much love to Levi.”
Karlie shared her view on motherhood
Karlie and Joshua’s family is bigger now as they are already proud parents to their firstborn, son Levi Joseph, who was born in 2021.
In an interview on the Today’s Show last year, the model reflected on her motherhood journey and admitted that her priorities have changed since the birth of Levi.
She said at the time: “I just had this moment of like, ‘Wow, every woman who has a child, every parent goes through this.’ It’s just the most profound experience that I had no idea until having a kid.
“Priorities change. Everything changes. I think the last few years have changed us as well. I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time. I’m actually on time everywhere now.”
On Mother’s Day back in May, Karlie shared a carousel of images with her son and her mother alongside the caption: “Feeling extra grateful this year.” The first image showed Karlie applying lipstick next to Levi in a bathroom before she headed out to this year’s Met Gala, where she confirmed her second pregnancy.
The model has opted to keep her family out of the spotlight as much as possible and she makes sure to cover Levi’s face in all of her social media posts for his own security.
Karlie and Joshua’s relationship
While details of how and when Karlie and Joshua first laid eyes on each other are not publicly known, the model revealed that she “met” her best friend back in 2012.
They made many public appearances before the official relationship status, attending the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show afterparty in 2012 and making their debut as a couple at the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in May 2013.
Six years after their romance began, Karlie announced their engagement with a loved-up snap on Instagram, followed by the caption: “Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes, a million times over.”
Karlie and Joshua tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2018 in New York and held a bigger wedding in 2019 in Saratoga, Wyoming.
